Sho: Roiall out of trap shooting
Australia's STACY ROIALL has crashed out of the women's trap shooting competition at
the Beijing Olympics.
ROIALL, who won selection over the Athens gold medallist SUZIE BALOGH had been in contention,
only two shots behind the leaders after the opening qualifying round.
But after a horror start to the second round she couldn't recover, missing eight of
25 targets and finishing in equal 15th place.
ROIALL says the targets had been difficult to pick up, but she didn't blame that for
her disappointing showing.
The equal leaders going into this afternoon's final are DAINA GUDZINEVICUITE of Lithuania,
the Olympic gold medallist eight years ago in Sydney and Finland's SATU MAKELA-NUMMELA.
