NSW: Carr to visit Gunnedah tomorrow
SYDNEY, Dec 27 AAP - New South Wales Premier Bob Carr will tomorrow visit Gunnedah
in the state's north-west to discuss the impact of the recent floods on local businesses.
Gunnedah was among the worst affected towns hit by the November floods, which tore
through the CBD.
A spokesman for Mr Carr said the premier would be meeting with business leaders to
discuss government assistance that will be required to help protect jobs.
The premier was scheduled to arrive in the town shortly after 9am.
As part of the trip, Mr Carr will visit the Peel Valley Machinery factory in Connadilly Street.
