Qld: Woman hitchhiker raped in far north Queensland
BRISBANE, Feb 8 AAP - Police are searching for three men who raped a woman hitchhikingnear Mareeba in far north Queensland overnight.
A 46-year-old woman was picked up by three men while thumbing a lift along the KennedyHighway between Mareeba and Atherton about 7pm (AEST) yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said the woman was driven south, towards Walkamin, before beingsexually assaulted and dropped by the roadside.
